Saturday 9 Nov 2024 | Geelong Trailable Yacht Club | Pelican Race |
Perfect weather and lighter breeze greeted the sailors for this one. More breeze within Inner Corio was nice, some boats got caught out in very light breeze on the Southern part of Outer Corio. A fantastic day out. |

Sunday 24 Nov 2024 |
Around Lake Colac Race |
Very marginal light breeze was the theme of the day. At one stage it looked like a race may not be achieved, but after a postponement the majority of competitors were keen to race regardless. A light wind race was held, and typically a lovely breeze filled in late in the day after the course was shotenened. |

Saturday 7 Dec 2024 |
Port Albert Yacht Club |
Around Sunday Island Race |
A stiff breeze adjacent to Bass Straight made for a very challenging but fast lap of Sunday Island. The boats able to reach planing speeds did very well in the heavy breeze conditions, but it was the best seamanship that typically won the day.

Victorian Trailable Yacht State Titles |
https://www.trailableyacht.com.au/vic-state-titles/state-titles-2025 Tragically strong winds across the entire weekend meant we were unable to achieve a series. Whilst this was a disappointment for the 40 entrants, a good weekend was still had, including a great dinner! |

Saturday 08 Mar 2025* | Gippsland Lakes/Lake Wellington Yacht Club* | Marlay Point Overnight Race* | 2025 was another classic 'Marlay' with a fading easterly breeze helping boats across Lake Wellington, before a slow run through the McLennan Straights and on to Paynesville.
Saturday 22 Mar 2025 |
Bendigo Yacht Club |
Trailable Yacht Classic |
This event was completed in very light and often non-existant winds, several boats were unable to finish within time limit. Congratulations to all those who made it to the finish, and comiserations to those who didn't, sailing can be a frustrating sport at times. |

4 Points Race (StKilda) |
The top of Port Phillip can serve up some rough water in breeze from the south or west, and this years Four Points race was no excepetion. Strong winds (gusting over 30kts) during the evening had cut up a very messy sea state, though the winds had abated to ~20kts at the race start. The first hour was very bumpy and windy, but over the course of the day the breeze faded and the sun came out. The end of the race saw 5-10kts for many competitors. All boats not retiring early were able to finish, a great outcome for a well run race. |
